The Augusta Golf Course is situated on a plateau, south of the city of Calatayud, which provides a clear and excellent picture of this iconic city, with the Vicor range and the Ayud Castle in the background, and from where can be appreciated the ancient Roman city of Augusta Bílbilis, at the time of the Emperor Caesar Augustus, which takes its name Augusta Golf.The round is demanding while enjoyable, with several holes close to 500 meters, with greens and fairways extremely well maintained and two strategically-located lakes to come into play on several of the holes.The Augusta Golf Course is approved by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation being able to hold every kind of local and national championship. It has 18 holes, par 72 and 6183 meters distance. Golf amenities include a large driving range with 30 posts in two heights, short game practice area and practice greens, and a Pitch & Putt with nine holes par 3. When the round is done, golfers can enjoy dining and drinks at the course’s beautiful restaurant which features attached terraces and panoramic views of the course and mountain range.
